Data Deletion Instructions

Effective date: October 28, 2026

This page explains how to have the data Charchy holds about you deleted, including data we received from Facebook and Instagram.

Charchy holds data about two kinds of people: people with a Charchy account, who use it for a business, and people who send messages, comments, emails or calls to those businesses. The steps differ for each, so find the one that describes you.

Charchy is operated by Barzxwaz Company for Advertising and Investment of Commercial Projects.

1. Deleting your Charchy account

You can delete your own account at any time, in the iPhone app or in the dashboard:

  • iPhone app: open Settings → You → Delete account
  • Dashboard at https://app.charchy.krd: open Settings → Personal → Profile, and choose Delete account
  • Type DELETE to confirm. Deletion starts at once and cannot be undone
  • It deletes your name, picture, sign-in methods, sessions, notification settings and registered devices, and every workspace where you are the only member. If you signed in with Apple, we also ask Apple to remove Charchy's access
  • Replies and internal notes you wrote in a workspace you leave stay there with your name, as part of that business's conversations. Your former teammates see that you are no longer on the team
  • If you are the only owner of a workspace that has other members, make someone else an owner first, or delete the workspace

2. Deleting a workspace

The owner of a workspace can delete it, and everything in it, at any time:

  • Sign in to Charchy at https://app.charchy.krd
  • Open Settings → Organization → General
  • Under the delete section, choose Delete workspace and type the workspace name to confirm

3. What deleting a workspace removes

Deletion starts the moment you confirm. There is no grace period and it cannot be undone. It removes the workspace's conversations and contacts from every channel — the website chat, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Discord and email — with their messages, comments, files, calls and call recordings; connected accounts' details and access tokens; the Library; and Zhirmand's settings.

Payment records are kept, because the law requires us to keep financial records. They contain no conversation content. A record that the workspace was deleted is kept, with internal IDs and dates only.

4. Deleting one person's data from a workspace

If a customer asks a business to delete their data, someone on the business's team can do it in the dashboard: open the contact and choose Erase this contact. This deletes the contact and all their conversations, messages, notes, files and calls in that workspace, at once and for good. A single conversation can also be deleted on its own.

If the person had unsubscribed from the business's emails, or their address bounced, the address stays on that business's do-not-email list, so they are not emailed again. It is used for nothing else.

5. Removing Charchy's access to Facebook and Instagram

You can stop Charchy from receiving any further data from your Facebook Page or Instagram account without deleting your workspace. On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Charchy, and choose Remove.

Removing access stops new data from reaching us. To also delete the data we already received through that connection, email us using the address below.

6. Disconnecting Telegram or Discord

Disconnecting a Telegram bot or a Discord server in Charchy's channel settings stops Charchy receiving new messages from it. For Telegram, the bot token we stored is deleted too. Conversations already received stay in the workspace until you delete them, erase the contact, or delete the workspace.

7. Disconnecting TikTok

TikTok is coming to Charchy. Once it is available, disconnecting a TikTok account in Charchy's channel settings will stop all further data from that account and delete the TikTok data we received from it — the access token, videos, comments and messages.

Removing Charchy's access from within TikTok will have the same effect: once we learn that access was removed, we delete that data within 30 days.

8. If you contacted a business that uses Charchy

When you send a message, comment or email to a business that uses Charchy, or call it, that business decides how your data is used, and Charchy processes it on the business's behalf. The quickest way to have it deleted is to ask that business directly.

In a Discord server that uses Charchy, you can also type /privacy to see what Charchy keeps about you in that server, and delete it yourself.

You can also email us. Tell us which business you contacted and how (the business's website chat, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Discord, email or a call), and we will delete your data from that business's workspace or pass your request to the business.

9. Request deletion by email

Email privacy@charchy.krd with the subject "Data deletion request". Include enough detail for us to find your data, such as your name, your username on the service you used, or the email address you used.

We confirm that we have received your request within 7 days and complete it within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm that the data is yours before we delete it, so that nobody else can delete your data.
